Phase III: Rotational Phase/ Power Development Days 9 to Full Resolution
(Remodeling Phase)
Therapeutic Objectives
- Integration of full transverse plane movement
- Continued progression of movement and loads in dynamic activities to aid in the alignment, organization, and cross-linking of collagen fibers
- Regain full strength
- Regain Full ROM
Therapeutic Modalities
* As needed for pain modulation |
Therapeutic Exercises

Evaluation Procedures
- The athlete's biomechanics will continue to be evaluated for consistency, strength, and full ROM.
- If dynamic loading or movement through multiple planes of motion cause the athlete any difficulty or re-appearance of symptoms or deficiencies, they will not be ready to progress to full activity without restrictions.
Criteria and methods used for functional progression and return to activity
- When the athlete is able to perform combination motions, through multiple planes of movement with full strength and ROM consistently, they are ready to progress to the final transition of full participation.
Protective or Prophylactic Measures for Progression into the next Phase
- Bracing should be minimal - no use at all
