- Athlete to have confidence in every functional movement required for their sport
- Full ROM and Strength restored

Evaluation Procedures
- Athlete will be evaluated during practice to determine whether proper biomechanics are being used
- If athlete is displaying apprehension in a certain drill, it may be necessary to scale back on the activity until the athlete is ready
- The athlete may not be psychologically ready so it is important to be aware of their current mindset and provide confidence and motivation to them if needed
Criteria and methods used for functional progression and return to activity
- No functional complaints
- Strength and ROM has been restored
- Athlete has completed multiple practices at game speed with no difficulties
- Athlete appears psychologically ready to begin full participation
Protective or Prophylactic Measures for Progression into the next Phase
- Patient should not require any prophylactic equipment
